Still Alive and Well in China

Happy Easter to those who celebrate or enjoy the long weekend wherever you are. I have been enjoying the experience of teaching English to the Chinese youngsters here in Lanxi.   Also having my emotional ups and downs with frustration.   A totally different world and I didn’t even get to see the 2 eclipses we had.  The last one was April 4th and was called a Blood Moon.  Now the weather is getting to be either hot or rain showers.

With regards to some acting news.. I am slowly working on getting my documents ready for my O1 Visa so I can live and work in the US.  My plan is LA though anything can change.  I’ve always had my heart set on LA since I was in high school.

Following you passions can be a challenge but worth it in the end.   Just keep your eyes on where you desire to be.   Take steps to make that happen even if there are detours along the way.  As my mentors Janet Bray and Chris Attwood writes in their book – Intention-Attention and No Tension!

My Asian Adventure Begins

Wow I am here in China at last!  What a feeling this is to begin a new adventure in a place completely different and unexpected.  My flights were great and compared to some comments of the airline I was to take.. all went smoothly.   Arrived to a day of sunshine and into a very nice apartment nearby one of the locations where I am going to be teaching English.

Before leaving Switzerland I had a meeting with my dear friend and one show person mentor Brenda Adelman.   She helped me with the beginning of my own show.  So all is looking good on that front and by next year will be debuting it or maybe this year in China.

It takes courage to take a leap of faith into an unknown world.  Start small and than grow big.  The more bigger you go the more bigger rewards come.  So start to take action today.  You got nothing to lose but having a wonderful experience and learning lesson!

A New Chapter Soon Begins

Skiing at Luina... in Airolo

There is nothing like a picture of skiing at Luina which is near where I live in Airolo.

The month of January has flown by so fast that time is near for me to depart for Asia.  But before than I am taking advantage of being here in Switzerland.   One place I have not yet been in all the times I have come for visits or to live is Geneva.  So will be visiting and enjoying a day of it.

My one man show is slowly taking shape and getting a complete makeover as I just the other day finally declared a theme.  “Embracing Your Uniqueness”  I realized it when I looked at my life and what message I wanted to bring.   Inspiration!

My good friend Carolyn A Brent just released a book called The Caregiver’s Companion: Caring for Your Loved One Medically, Financially and Emotionally While Caring for Yourself.   She talks on a subject that I am drawn to from my own experience.  Caregiving is so important whether you are one, hire one or looking for one.  No matter where you are in your life important to understand all there is to know and know there is support.  Here is link to her book trailer

Another New Year For New Adventures

One thing I will miss most when I leave Switzerland is spending time with my relatives.  This Christmas, one of my long time wishes came true.  I got to spend Christmas Eve dinner with another part of my family whom I

just got to know more of finally.

I am slowly preparing for my journey and adventure to China to teach English.  My one man show is starting to take a bit more shape and this year working on 2016 plans to move to the US.

As the New Year begins most people make resolutions and aim to stick to them.  A few years back I read a newsletter from Marci Shimoff who was in the movie “The Secret.”   Instead of resolutions I pick a theme for the year as result of that newsletter.  It has been great as a theme one can really stick to it.  This year my theme is Asia!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2014!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2014!

My goodness how time flies by… Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!  For those that don’t celebrate Christmas .. may this time be a time of gratitude and joy with family and friends.  I love this time of year as people are letting go of one year and welcoming another.

My China plans are moving forward and so is working on my own show.  I am working with PR Lena Hunt – Celebritze You with helping out on my career and getting to the US for 2016!

Take a moment before A New Year is to begin for yourself and think of all the wonderful adventures you had this year.   Then  let it go and dream/visualize 2015 making some intentional goals for yourself.   A few years ago a read a New Year’s newsletter from Marci Shimoff who mentioned she picks a theme for the year. I will share this in my next newsletter which will be on time.
